How do I find a radio station to set when using my wireless ipod car accessory?

How do I find a radio station to set when using my wireless ipod car accessory?
I purchased an accessory that plugs into my car cigarette lighter and into my ipod and allows me to listen to the ipod music through my car radio. It’s wireless and I have to set an appropriate station to listen to it. It works on one setting in Toronto but when I drive out of town I get garbled results. Does anyone know of a way to find the correct setting for different locations? Thanks a lot.

that radio station that’s empty in toronto is probably taken somewhere else so try tuning to another radio station to see if that works
