uhh - if you have any brains at all, tell your passengers NOT TO SMOKE IN YOUR CAR!!! They are being extremely rude by doing that, and even if for some crazy reason you don’t mind it, it is still very detrimental to your health, even with the windows rolled down, plus it’ll make your upholstry smell and become stained!
If you’re going to be crazy enough to let someone smoke in your car and damage your health and uphostry, then here’s a cheap, universal product for you, I think it’s what you’re looking for:

That little lighter element draws some 10 amps of current (120 watts) I would not be surprised to hear that your accessory jack is fused for a lower max current, check your user manual. Perhaps one of those barbecue lighter pistols would be a good host’s alternative.
